This course provides learners with the creative and technical skills to design and produce motion graphics and visual effects for film, television, advertising, and digital platforms. Students will explore how motion graphics enhance storytelling, brand communication, and visual engagement, while also learning how VFX bring imagination to life by creating realistic and stylized effects.
The module covers:
Principles of motion graphics and animation (timing, rhythm, and transitions)
Typography in motion and kinetic text design
Visual effects techniques such as compositing, masking, chroma keying, and tracking
Software tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other VFX plug-ins
Integration of 2D/3D assets, sound, and visual storytelling
Practical applications in advertising, promotional videos, and film post-production
Through hands-on exercises and projects, learners will design animated sequences, apply visual effects to live footage, and produce short motion graphics clips. By the end of the course, they will be able to create professional-quality motion graphics and VFX suitable for use in media, marketing, and entertainment industries.
The Motion Graphics and Visual Effects module introduces students to the creative and technical aspects of designing animated visuals and integrating special effects into multimedia projects.
